Joanie Xie currently serves as Vice President and Managing Director for North America at Ripple, where she oversees the region’s overall business. Previously, she was Ripple’s Global Head of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships, where she built and led a global team, launched new products, and established strategic relationships across the payments, blockchain, and digital asset sectors.

Before joining Ripple, Joanie served as Head of U.S. at Ant Group, where she drove rapid growth and established the U.S. as one of Ant’s most successful international markets. Earlier in her career, she worked in Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division, managing key client relationships and leading M&A and financing transactions across Asia.
